Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Horn EduCloud's platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you do not have permission to access the service.
These terms apply to all visitors, users, and institutions who access or use our cloud-based university management platform.
Service Description
Horn EduCloud provides a comprehensive cloud-based SaaS platform for educational institution management, including but not limited to:
- Student information management and enrollment systems
- Academic operations including course management and grading
- Financial management, fee collection, and billing
- HR and employee management systems
- Attendance tracking and reporting
- Analytics and business intelligence tools
- Communication and notification systems
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of our service with or without notice.
Account Registration & Security
Your Responsibilities
Acceptable Use Policy
You agree NOT to use our platform to:
- Violate any laws, regulations, or third-party rights
- Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or any malicious code
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts, systems, or networks
- Interfere with or disrupt the platform's operation or servers
- Harvest or collect information about other users without consent
- Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) without authorization
- Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation
- Engage in any fraudulent, abusive, or harmful activity
- Resell, lease, or provide access to the service to third parties without authorization
Violation of this policy may result in immediate account termination without refund.
Subscription & Payment Terms
Billing & Fees
- Subscription Plans: Services are provided on a subscription basis with monthly, quarterly, or annual billing cycles
- Payment Due: Payment is due at the beginning of each billing cycle
- Automatic Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
- Price Changes: We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days' advance notice
- Late Payments: Failure to pay may result in service suspension or termination
- No Refunds: Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or explicitly stated
Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period. You will continue to have access to the service until that date.
Intellectual Property Rights
Our Property
All content, features, and functionality of Horn EduCloud (including but not limited to software, code, designs, graphics, logos, and documentation) are owned by Horn EduCloud and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.
Your Data
You retain all rights to the data you input into the platform. By using our service, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and display your data solely for the purpose of providing our services to you.
Data Privacy & Security
Horn EduCloud operates as a multi-tenant SaaS platform with enterprise-grade security measures:
- Complete Isolation: Your institution's data is securely separated and protected from other organizations
- Encryption: All data is encrypted using industry-standard security protocols
- Access Control: Comprehensive access control systems limit who can view or modify data
- Regular Backups: Automated backups with disaster recovery procedures to protect your data
- Compliance: We comply with GDPR and international data protection standards

Service Level Agreement (SLA)
- Uptime Commitment: We strive for 99.9% uptime availability
- Scheduled Maintenance: Planned maintenance will be announced in advance
- Support: Technical support available via email and support portal
- Best Efforts: We use commercially reasonable efforts to ensure service availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Horn EduCloud shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- This includes loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses
- Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim
- These limitations apply whether based on warranty, contract, tort, or any other legal theory
Warranty Disclaimer
The service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Horn EduCloud, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of the service, (b) your violation of these Terms, (c) your violation of any third-party rights, or (d) your content uploaded to the platform.
Termination
By You
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support or through your account settings. Termination will be effective at the end of your current billing period.
By Us
We may suspend or terminate your access immediately, without notice, for any violation of these Terms, non-payment, or if we believe your actions may cause harm to us, our users, or third parties. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately.
Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable international laws and the laws of the jurisdiction where Horn EduCloud operates.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the service shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law. You agree to waive your right to a jury trial and to participate in class actions.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or prominent notice on the platform at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you disagree with the changes, you must discontinue use of the service.
